Ace was a great 5 star read. I couldn’t wait to get started on this book. I was so excited to get Ace and Violet’s story. Violet met Ace while she was working at the diner. He also arrested her husband for physically attacking and beating Violet at the diner. There is something about Ace that really attracts Violet. He’s kind and caring. Ace helps Violet get a new place to live right next door to him. She is also in the process of getting a divorce and is trying to respect boundaries with Ace until she is free to be all his. These two were very strong willed, not sure I could have resisted like they did. We get to see not only Violet’s live be a little bit into Ace’s as well as a police officer. Ace was the perfect gentleman and really cared about and respected Violet. He is a true hot alpha male. Violet is a very strong woman to go through what she has. One thing is for sure, I will figure out who I am, or I’ll die trying. - Violet I really enjoyed this book, we not only get the romance between Violet and Ace but we get a little bit of mystery with the moonshine again. All of the secondary characters were great. I loved seeing the characters from the previous books in the series. I can’t help but want to read more from these two but I was very happy with the ending. Laramie Briscoe has once again pulled me right in with her writing. I can’t wait to read Menace Book 5 in the series. .

ACE I have been waiting patiently for this book since we first got a glimpse of Violet and Anthony in book 3 of this dynamite series. Anthony“Ace”Bailey is a thrill seeker in my book and was never one for following the rules even when it came to a ring on someone's finger and unhappiness shining in her eyes. Violet Miller has gone through a traumatic experience being attacked by her husband but its nothing compared to the abuse she has suffered for years. Enter Ace who puts a stop to it and arrest her husband but he's also determined to be there for her and to take his chance once she has healed. This pair is made for each other and you see glimpses throughout the story whenever they are together. When they finally come together its like magic because it completely enchants you. I LOVE THIS series and this is totally my favorite couple!!!!

Ace knows when its time to push and when he needed to be a good friend and thats exactly what violet needed with everything she was going through not counthing the feeling she had.Goals were put out that violet needed to be done before she felt confident that shes would move on hand was worth the kind of attention Ace was giving.How friends turn into so much more than the could've ever imagined
